Employee Relations Generalist- Manufacturing Support
Summary
The HR Generalist- Manufacturing Support is responsible for providing advice, counsel, and support for assigned Business Center (s) team members and managers regarding employee performance, attendance, and behavioral issues, interpretation and application of company policies, procedures, and guidelines as well as monitoring and overseeing adherence to HR, State, Federal and Corporate compliance rules, and regulations. This is a "hands on" role that will be a member of the assigned Business Center Leadership team (s) with primary focus on supporting production floor employee relations.
Responsibilities / Deliverables :
- Consult and counsel with managers and employees on Human Resources issues and works towards problem resolutions relating to performance management, corrective action, progressions, and workplace investigations.
- Assist Business Center with recruitment and selection activities as a subject matter expert in behavioral interviewing as well as part of the interview team in support of the hiring manager
- Advises leadership on appropriate Human resources procedures within company policy guidelines and State and Federal laws.
- Provide organizational development, design, and effectiveness expertise to assist Business Center in creatin staffing models, and identify skill gaps impacting operating results, creating appropriate solution Planning and execution
- Work with broader HR team to develop / deliver and coordinate training on site initiatives and to support Business Center-focused needs.
