Job Overview :
We are seeking an HR Business Partner to drive dynamic change and support continued business growth at LPL! The HR Business Partner will be supporting our Finance and Risk and Compliance business units. The HR Business Partner will align with the assigned leaders and Sr. HR Consultant to facilitate business and HR execution, as well as provide consultation and coaching to leaders on performance management, talent management, engagement strategies and compensation issues, in partnership with other teams within the Human Resources organization.
Responsibilities :
Work on development and implementation of comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and practices in support of company and client group business plans in the areas of performance management, leadership development, workforce planning, compensation, talent management, change management, employee engagement, retention, professional development, culture and diversity
Actively manage performance management needs and escalations and follow-up with managers and leaders to ensure consistent oversight and appropriate documentation
Advise business leaders on plans to support their business goals
Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams and assignments as necessary, often partnering with Compensation & Benefits; Talent Development; Learning Delivery; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Talent Acquisition; HR Ops, Systems & Analytics; HR Compliance; Workforce Analytics; Corporate Real Estate
Act as the voice of the internal client to facilitate improvements to LPL's HR policies, benefits, initiatives, processes, etc.
Responsible for providing overall Human Resources leadership : focusing on employee engagement and offering support, coaching, mentorship, feedback, and development to business leaders
Provide creative and innovative solutions to the business on complex problems
Identifying and acting on key metrics for decision making
Prepare and maintain materials to support initiatives across the client groups
Develop methods and procedures for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects, working closely with the Human Resources Workforce Analytics team and other partners
Actively participate in various projects in support of Human Resources strategy

Requirements :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required, advanced level degree preferred
5 year’s professional level experience in Human Resources or applicable experience
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws
Must have a professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
Core Competencies :
Proficient in HR Generalist skills such as Employee Relations, Talent Development, and Project Management
Ability to multi-task, work on multiple priorities, work independently and as a team in an ambiguous and dynamic environment
Successful candidates will possess superior consultative and influencing skills, superior verbal / written communication skills, and strong analytical and problem solving skills, project management skills
Preferences :
Experience working within financial services industry and working with exempt and non-exempt populations preferred
PHR or SPHR preferred, not required
Microsoft Office products, Workday, and SmartSheet proficient
May involve up to 5% travel
Must be extremely organized, self-motivated, have strong time management skills and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management

Pay Range :
75,900-$126,500 / yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
