Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military service, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention strategies is an advantage.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A valid armed security guard license or certificate is required for this position.
Duties
- Facility Security & Patrols – Conduct regular patrols, monitor access points, and respond to security breaches.
- Personnel & Asset Protection – Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access; escort personnel as needed.
- Incident Response – Handle security incidents, emergencies, and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Surveillance & Reporting – Monitor security systems, document incidents, and report hazards.
- Weapons Handling & Compliance – Carry and maintain a firearm per regulations, adhering to use-of-force policies.
- Policy Enforcement & Training – Enforce security policies, conduct safety training, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communication & Collaboration – Work with management, employees, and law enforcement to maintain safety
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or armed security preferred.
- Valid Act 235 certification.
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
