As a Finished Goods Planner at our Mt. Olive manufacturing facility within our NOAM (North America) Planning Department, reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be fundamental for leading production and finished goods plans which will create processes in the Supply Chain. You are the first step which drives customer service, efficiency and profitability. Sounds interesting? Main Responsibilities:
Strategy Design and Execution:
- Daily responsibilities may include: committing customer orders, releasing work to production, subcontracting manufacturing management, reusable container management, transfer order management, and testing for system upgrades.
- Shape implementation of strategies that satisfy requirements for production schedule, operations costs, lead time to customers and delivery targets.
- Improve optimization through system implementation and process development plans to protect and improve service level, production scheduling, and standard operative Indicators.
- Build relationships at site, region and globally within the Supply Chain organization and cross-departmentally. Build relationships to ensure successful execution of production plans.
Operational Excellence:
- Detailed examination, analysis, and understanding of plant versus plant manufacturing costs and capacities (i.e., plant optimization) and current/future customer demand.
- Communicate and work with teams to prioritize production plans based on inventory availability, work center resources and capacity to meet overall customer service levels and finished goods inventory.
- Perform and publish root cause analysis on important metrics including customer service and inventory levels.
- Team player who manages multiple responsibilities.
Continuous Improvement:
- Lead the generation of large-scale plans that are necessary to the efficiency of the production operation. Drive systems, process and reporting automation with necessary teams. Develop plans that are reviewed and approved by the senior management team.
- Give special attention to rush order priorities, schedule and changes affecting scheduled production to avoid extended delays. Report irregularities to the Production Manager and help with corrective measures.
- Lead process improvement programs to increase productivity, eliminate waste, and refine processes in production planning.

Your profile includes:
- Five (5) years of Supply Chain experience which could include, Production Scheduling, Demand Planning, Forecasting, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Customer Service or Logistics.
- Experience with growth in positions of increasing responsibility.
- Inventory management, scheduling, and pull-based manufacturing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP MRP system, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
- Understanding of lean principles.
