We guide excellence in the delivery of our products, services and business processes – always with our customers' needs in mind. Our regulatory team resides in over 25 locations with more than 200 employees with a range of different skills, from toxicologists and environmental scientists to food chemists and regulatory affairs experts, who provide consumer safety reassurance, regulatory compliance and guidance for our flavors and fragrance customers, wherever they are.
Our experts also play a lead role in supporting industry eff orts, and those of regulatory authorities, to evaluate the materials we use, through the latest scientific methods, for consumer safety reassurance. To this end, we are looking for a Regulatory Specialist to join our fast-paced and energetic Regulatory Organization. You will be onsite in our Cincinnati-based in office location with opportunity to work from home 1 day a week, and report to a Regulatory Manager. You will meet the needs of our North American and Global commercial, creation and research programs. Use your experience of industry and regulatory requirements and proficiency with regulatory systems to:
- Regulatory Excellence: Stay up-to-date on regulatory code changes and understand the possible effects to the business related to these changes. Advise internal customers regarding regulatory compliance related tocreation and research initiatives. Identify regulatory challenges relevant to commercial opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve them. Develop, and maintain, company SOPs.
- Customer Partnership: Complete and deliver documentation to support external customer requirements. Identify issues relevant to customer opportunities and work toward resolutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers. Obtain knowledge of customer requirements. Identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies with current processes. Deliver support in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations.
- Bring the best of you: Use your experience and develop a stronger background in regulatory compliance related to flavors, food, food additives or dietary supplements. Think about the wider business and strategy while building relationships. Provide solutions, rather than just answers.
You?
- Bachelor's Degree in food, biological or physical sciences, or other such technical degree relevant to position
- 3 years of experience in food or fl avor regulatory aff airs
- Working knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements
- Adept with technology and computer systems
