Position Description:
The position plays a key role in growing the Givenchy wholesale business in North America by maintaining a high-quality brand image and selling the Givenchy brand. The brand manager is responsible for maximizing sales of all product categories across the Givenchy wholesale network (Saks Fifth Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, & key specialty accounts) while managing the relationship with existing clients through market and stores visits in the U.S.

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000- $125,000 annually. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.

The core responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Business Acumen/ Communication
- Understand the state of the business including annual volume, best sellers and in-season trend for your business.
- Sell the collections in Paris to all current and potential wholesale accounts and animate replenishments (up to four times per year).
- Provide regular sales analysis covering sales trends, sell through of key programs, and missed opportunities to corporate sales team; Provide context to weekly selling reports and standing vs. competitive brands
- Share key learnings and opportunities internally with account partners and leadership.
- Build & maintain strong account partnerships & relationships and collaborate continually.
- Execute strategies outlined by leadership team to drive sales growth and profitability.
- React to pre-order opportunities, keeping track of stock levels, optimizing inventory
- Execute strong, well-balanced merchandise statements consistent with Givenchy strategies & guidelines.
- Partner with Givenchy, and client, VM team to ahead of corporate visit to ensure prime visibility and impeccable merchandising plans.
- Ensure all new receipts and re-orders are introduced to the department store sales teams as they arrive
- Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and customer service, enabling all sales associates and personal shoppers to maximize Givenchy sales
- Ensure store team maintains an organized stockroom for easy product replenishment.
- Promote the world of Givenchy, its history, workmanship, and DNA
- Partner with DSAs/Brand Ambassadors, Personal shopping and VIP client service units to know in advance the roster of all appointments and propose Givenchy products for each room/ rack being prepared
- Strategize and partner with Givenchy sales team on executing selling initiatives including contests, focus days, personal shopper events to drive full price business
- Schedule and host seasonal trainings, trunk shows, and special events
- Work with Givenchy sales team and Buying teams during seasonal selling campaigns to fine tune store buys to accommodate client needs and maximize sales
- Travel regionally
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Impeccable customer service, product presentation, analytical and communication skills required
- Strong computer skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along well with diverse personalities – tactful-mature-flexible
- Experience in sales and management in a retail environment, luxury sales preferred
- Background in visual merchandising a plus
- Must be able to travel up to 50%-70%
