Givens Estates is looking for an Admissions and Marketing Coordinator to support our Health Services marketing team. Reporting to the Health Services Marketing Director, the primary purpose of the Health Services Admissions and Marketing Coordinator is to plan and develop a process that coordinates the pre-admission, admission, discharge, and follow up process for Givens Estates Health Center and Wood Assisted Living.
What you'll do:
- Maintain census and payer mix goals
- Monitor and track all incoming referrals and leads
- Utilize the Customer Relationship Management system (Enquire) consistently and keep update
- Coordinate pre-admission and approval process in a timely manner
- Conducts tours of facility with potential residents and their family members
- Utilize the Admission Matrix and Scope of Service tools to determine appropriate placement and ability to offer accommodations
- Follow the denial process ensuring all clinical and financial denials have been approved prior to submitting denial to the referral source
- Participates in weekend on-call rotation to monitor and facilitate potential referrals
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred with applicable sales and marketing experience
- 2 years' work experience with older adult population or any equivalent combination of training and experience while providing the required skills, knowledge, and abilities to fulfill the essential job responsibilities
- Long-term care or healthcare experience
Compensation is $55k - $60k, based on experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package.
