Ocean Export Specialist

GL Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Ocean Export Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing air export operations, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments. The Ocean Export Specialist role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Pay rate $21 - $26 p/h

Full-time

Duties
- The Ocean Export Specialist will coordinate and manage air export shipments from initiation to delivery, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation for air freight shipments, including bills of lading, customs declarations, Pick-ups, Airway bills,
- The Ocean Export Specialist will collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper order picking, fulfillment, and packaging of goods for export.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
- The Ocean Export Specialist will communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams to resolve any issues related to shipments.

Qualifications
- Previous air/ ocean export experience
- Familiarity with Cargo Wise
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining accuracy in documentation and shipment processing.
