Glacier Bancorp, Inc. As part of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), this position partners with business owners/teams and leverages project management best practices and leading tools to assist in driving consistent delivery of programs and projects. This position is a strategic resource to help drive value for customers and employees while considering and planning for enterprise-level impacts. Builds and continuously develops relationships with bank users, all levels of management, and vendors to increase the operational capability of the EPMO to deliver our offered services. This position is considered a representative of the EPMO to all levels of bank groups and management, and professionalism and diplomacy to gain trust is critical to the success of the position. The EPMO Manager is a leader in the EPMO and leads a team of internal and contract program and project managers. Recruits, develops, manages, and directs the activities of the team. Develops and maintains program and project management methodologies and procedures. Ensures program and project management procedures are consistently followed within the team. Ensures projects accomplish intended outcomes. Leads resource planning activities to determine available resources for inflight and future projects. Maintains satisfactory ratings on audits and serves as a central source during audits.
This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our eight-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, UT, WA, or WY. The entry for this position is $128,019.63/ per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT).
All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.
*Provide leadership and supervision of program and project management team. Hire, train, and coach an effective program and project management team to ensure projects meet the needs of the organization. Ensure team provides excellent customer service. Ensure staff communicates and collaborates effectively within the group, as well as with corporate and division groups. Direct job assignments appropriately among projects and other work. Manage departmental overtime to ensure important work is completed while at the same time in a cost efficient manner. Complete employee performance evaluations. |
*Work with the team to develop and maintain program and project management methodologies and procedures, including tools and templates, that include industry best practices and meet the requirements of the FFIEC handbook. Train and coach staff in the proper application of these procedures as needed to mature program and project management in the organization. |
*Monitor active projects to ensure that all projects are properly managed, from beginning to end, according to established procedures. Ensure that projects deliver the outcomes that the company is trying to accomplish and are executed within agreed upon time, budget, and scope. Ensure that the transition from project to daily operation is managed effectively and that lessons learned are conducted timely. Ensure KPIs are identified and developed to measure progress and project success. Monitor project status reporting and complete monthly executive reporting. |
*Partner with corporate departments and EPMO leadership to maintain relationships and ensure needs are being met in active projects. Evaluate and adjust resources as needed to ensure success of projects. Responsible for resource planning with the EPMO and business units. Lead big room resource planning with business units to identify available internal resources to be assigned to in flight projects and future projects. Make recommendations for staff augmentation. |
*Ensure preparedness for and be accountable for audits. Serve as a central source for examiners during audits. Maintain satisfactory ratings and results on all exams/audits, and follow up timely on remediation efforts assigned to department. Adhere to and support the use of governance, security and risk management practices throughout the company, including completing Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA). |
*Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date. |
