Job Title: Busser

Department: FOH

Reports To: FOH Manager

SUMMARY

Clear and reset tables, stock service stations, and assist servers while maintaining a clean and safe environment, using the values and standards of the BrewHouse as outlined in the crew manual.

WAGES: Base pay is $11.73 per hour tipout which varies week to week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. A busser at the BrewHouse will:

Carry dirty dishes and glassware from dining room to kitchen, using trays.

Clean and reset tables in the dining room throughout service.

Maintain carpets and floors throughout restaurant utilizing hokies, vacuums, brooms, and mops.

Maintain bus stations throughout shift. Duties including but not limited to: stocking ice, glassware, coffee cups, bnb plates, and silverware roll-ups.

Assist server in any way possible, including bringing water to the tables and assisting with table maintenance.

Complete opening and closing duties per checklists provided.

Participate in seating guests when needed.

Perform all duties safely.

Maintain clean, pressed, and proper fitting uniform.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers in the English language.

Able to move safely through crowded areas and tight spaces while carrying up to 35lbs.

Able to work around a variety of food and spices.

Able to walk on surfaces such as tile and carpet.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.91 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
