Our team is committed to delivering top-tier service, and we are looking for a skilled Irrigation Technician/Foreman to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician/Foreman to manage and execute irrigation system installations and support the tech team for residential and commercial repairs. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, leadership experience, and hands-on expertise in irrigation system installation and repairs. Having your CIT is a plus but not required. This is a seasonal position running from April-October each year.
Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems independently.
- Lead a small team installing new irrigation systems including drip lines, sprinkler heads, valves and back-flow prevention devices.
- Ensure proper system layout, pressure testing, and functionality for each installation.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and clients to ensure efficient project completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to ensure optimal watering schedules for gardens and lawns.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and maintenance schedules.
Skills
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent problem-solving and mechanical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to sweat copper connections and wire irrigation timers and valves.
- Lift and transport materials up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions (crouching, kneeling for prolonged periods).
- Operate trenchers, pipe pullers, and other necessary equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
