Work for a company that cares and receive a bonus! The Lead Mental Health Worker - Acute Partial Hospitalization and Day Treatment Program may be eligible for a $1000 new hire incentive bonus if hired and meet all qualifications.
Program Summary: The Lead Mental Health Worker (“LMHW”) position is an integral part of a fast-paced treatment team of experienced clinical personnel. The LMHW is assigned a small caseload of children who have been impacted with severe, acute mental health needs and possibly the juvenile justice system. You will play a pivotal role by facilitating therapeutic skills groups, assessing and documenting the presentation of consumers, and providing the guidance and encouragement our consumers need to reach their wellness goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, counseling, sociology, social work, nursing, neuroscience or other clinical field AND at least 1-year experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical mental health program and knowledge of Juvenile Justice system, experience in Juvenile Justice system preferred.
- Must have audio/visual/verbal activity to provide supervision for the clients and to perform essential job functions.
- Must have physical dexterity in order to assist in physical interventions as necessary.
- Must complete and pass agency Crisis/Physical Intervention training.
- Must have emotional stability to perform essential job functions.
- Must possess verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required.
- Access to a telephone.
- Must be eligible for PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History clearance and FBI clearance.
- Must be able to identify with the Agency’s Mission Statement and support the agency’s Core Values.
