The Role:
Gladney is seeking an experienced Director of Residential Services to oversee daily operations of our General Residential Operation (GRO). This key leadership position ensures regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality services for our clients. The Director serves as the agency’s primary Licensed Child Care Administrator (LCCA) or must obtain licensure within one year.
As the Director, you will lead a trauma-informed program, manage a team of supervisors and case managers, and develop strategies that align with Gladney’s mission to positively impact the lives of children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Oversight: Plan, implement, and evaluate programs to ensure quality outcomes. Maintain compliance with licensing and internal policies.
- Leadership: Provide coaching and supervision to staff, foster collaboration, and ensure a supportive, client-focused environment.
- Operations: Oversee budget, staffing, and risk management. Ensure intake, discharge, and case management services meet standards.
- Strategic Impact: Participate in long-term planning and develop initiatives to enhance program effectiveness.
- Training: Collaborate with HR to enhance staff skills, provide orientation, and ensure ongoing development.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social or behavioral sciences (MS preferred).
- 3 years of experience in residential programs and 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to pass a background check, TB test, and drug screening.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
Preferred:
- Experience with trauma-informed practices.
- Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
