Job Description
As a member of the Glanbia team, you will support the Plant Controller and be responsible for providing accurate, relevant, knowledgeable, and timely cost accounting, financial, and operational results. You will reconcile production daily, weekly, and monthly, calculate and issue ingredients, packaging, cleaner, and miscellaneous usage daily/weekly, prepare weekly production reports, and review work and assess for reasonableness; identify and report on significant variances. Other key responsibilities include validating physical plant inventories against SAP weekly, entering requisitions, receiving material and managing LIV, GRIR, and Open POs, supporting front desk as needed, organizing electronic and physical files, and assisting in weekly and monthly departmental and plant reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have an Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or a minimum of one year related experience and/or training. You should also possess strong communication skills, ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, speak effectively before groups, add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, compute rate, ratio, and percent, draw and interpret bar graphs, solve practical problems, interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and be proficient in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routing database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
