Glashütte Original is seeking a dynamic, self-driven and creative Public Relations & Communications Manager to lead communications efforts for the brand throughout the North American market. This position is based in New York, NY, and reports directly to the North American Brand President.

Job Description
- Build and maintain strong relationships with press, editors and influencers throughout the luxury and fashion sectors
- Continuous improvement of media relations and outreach, identifying new opportunities outside of traditional trade media
- Develop and lead market-specific PR/Communications campaigns to promote Glashütte Original’s product assortment, brand history, and core values
- Work cross-functionally with NA Marketing and HQ Communications team to create and implement strategic communications plans, effectively growing brand visibility and awareness, resulting in increased market share
- Ensure consistent messaging that aligns with the brand’s mission, core values and vision
- Develop and maintain relations with stylists, influencers and VIPs
- Plan and execute key press events, oversee event-related communications, ensure media attendance and coverage
- Manage PR product inventory, organize product loans for photoshoots and product reviews, and coordinate with logistics to ensure all product is accounted for and returned in first quality
- Organize periodic manufactory visits with press
- Monitor PR/Communications activities and report regularly on campaign metrics, effectiveness and ROI. This description outlines the basic responsibilities and requirements for the role. Professional Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years in the Public Relations and/or Communications experience
- Proven track record of implementing high-impact PR/Communications strategies across various channels ranging from traditional media, digital media, and social media
- Deep understanding of the luxury market, specifically fashion, luxury timepieces and fine jewelry
- Knowledge and experience with PR events, influencer partnerships, media activations, and celebrity product placement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while managing multiple projects and timelines
- Strong existing media contacts and relations
- Collaborative and positive team player, willing to work in a small cross-functional team
- Occasional travel and weekend work for key events and activations
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. FLSA Status: Exempt The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $110,000 We are happy to offer a competitive comprehensive benefits package that includes:
