Position Overview:
The Glass Insulator will perform a wide range of duties. This position requires the handling of glass and various other products related to the glass industry. We are seeking dedicated Insulating Glass Insulators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and sealing insulated glass units (IGUs) with attention to detail, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and seal insulating glass units using automated machinery and hand tools.
- Measure glass to specifications.
- Apply spacer bars, sealants, and other materials to create high-quality insulated glass units.
- Inspect each unit for quality and accuracy before shipping or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Work efficiently with the production team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work with hands-on tools and machinery.
- Comfortable standing and working in a fast-paced environment.
