Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor will perform a wide range of duties. This position requires the handling of glass and various other products related to the glass industry. We’re seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor. This leadership role will involve managing a team, ensuring product quality, and maintaining operational efficiency. The Production Supervisor will work directly with the Plant Manager to drive performance and foster a safety-first culture.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of production workers to meet daily production goals and quality standards.
- Ensure safe and efficient operations in the manufacturing process, adhering to all company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop and implement production schedules, work plans, and strategies.
- Monitor production performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee employee training and development, ensuring all team members are properly trained on equipment, safety, and processes.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team effectiveness.
- Troubleshoot production issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure minimal downtime.
- Maintain inventory control and oversee the proper use of materials and equipment.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing or glass production.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
