Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Operations Support: Assist the sales team by managing documentation, processing and tracking wholesale orders, and ensuring accuracy and timely approvals.
- Menu Management: Help build and update the weekly sales menu with new inventory and distribute menu campaigns to customers.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain regular communication with dispensary accounts, providing ongoing support and addressing any order- or product-related issues.
- Wholesale Account Onboarding: Manage new account setup, ensuring all necessary documents are collected and properly maintained.
- CRM Management: Keep CRM contacts up to date, logging interactions and ensuring accurate customer records.
- Inventory Monitoring: Track product stock levels and proactively communicate updates, availability, and customer credit balances.
- Sales Forecasting & Analysis: Assist in reviewing order trends and customer demand to help forecast sales and inventory needs.
- Marketing & Promotions Support: Assist in distributing promotional materials, in-store assets, and communicating special offers to wholesale customers.
- Fulfillment Coordination: Work closely with the fulfillment team to troubleshoot delivery or product issues and communicate resolutions to customers.
- Customer Service Logging: Maintain a customer service log to track and resolve any issues related to dispensary customer or consumer issues.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, fulfillment, and finance teams to ensure smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.
- 2 years of sales experience in the cannabis industry or a related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, presentation, and people skills.
- Experience with sales strategy development, business development, partnership building, and sales forecasting.
- Commitment to sound business practices, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
- Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Sales/Buyer Relationships in the NJ Cannabis Market Preferred
