Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., a highly respected law firm based in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking to add a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a real estate Title Specialist. This position will support attorneys in the Secured Creditors Rights Department. Compensation is competitive, and benefits include medical, vision, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
Position Duties:
· Review real estate title reports, research and clear real estate title issues
· Work individually and as part of a team to perform legal support tasks
· Run database searches
· Review and enter data accurately into several database systems
· Collaborate with other staff members on projects
Job Requirements:
· Strong computer knowledge, including experience with Microsoft software (experience with LPS, Tempo and/or VendorScape preferred)
· Ability to multi-task
· Highly organized
· Superior attention to detail
· Strong critical thinking skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Team-oriented attitude
· Able to independently identify and solve problems
· 1 - 3 years prior real estate title experience preferred
Education/Experience:
· Previous mortgage servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, or law firm experience is a plus, but not required
· High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus
· Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
