Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for and provide support to the business, operations and facilitative needs of Glastron. These responsibilities support HR, Safety and Operations.
Job requirements
- Enter purchase orders for all items with the exception of inventory items.
- Set up timecards for new hires.
- Collect ID from new employees. Work with new employees to set up Outlook, ADP and all other necessary accounts.
- Maintain the SDS book.
- Create and maintain evacuation plans and head count sheets.
- Maintain any needed office supplies, as well as coordinate the maintenance of any office equipment.
- Manage the front desk and incoming phone calls.
- Create and update slide show (daily employee communication board).
- Download and print UPS and FED EX invoices, apply charge code and submit for approval.
- Send invoices to finance for processing.
- Distribute bonuses.
- Open and distribute mail.
- Other administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
Education/Experience:
- HS Diploma/GED with at least 2-3 years office related experience
- Associates degree is a plus
- Experience using and working with MRP/ERP systems is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
