Job Summary
This position is responsible for developing quotations for Glatt non-standard machine and ancillary equipment, as well as providing quotations for all Glatt products. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Department Managers, Account Managers, and Project Managers to meet submission deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Quotations : Develop quotations for Glatt non-standard machine and ancillary equipment, working directly with Department Managers, Account Managers, or Project Managers.
- Product Quotations : Provide quotations for all Glatt products by interfacing with sub-vendors, intra-company departments, or the German parent company.
- GSC Utilization : Use the GSC (Glatt Sales Configurator) to generate quotations, taking advantage of standardized pricing and text.
- Process Engineering : Perform applications engineering to specify process equipment types for use in GAT process systems or modify existing specifications to meet customer requirements.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to all verbal conversations, submittals, project meetings, etc.
- Travel : Travel to customer and vendor sites for technical meetings, quote reviews, and project coordination.
- Time Sheets : Complete weekly Timogix time sheets for all projects and workload.
- Product Knowledge : Keep up-to-date on current Glatt product lines.
Requirements
- Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Experience : Minimum 3-7 years of capital equipment sales engineering or related experience.
- Skills : Detail-oriented, ability to multitask.
