Pay: Starting at $21/hour (Depending on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change

Summary
Glaz-Tech is looking to fill the position of a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and self–driven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry. The job functions include handling, packaging and loading/unloading glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc.
Responsibilities may include:
- Manage all receiving and loading operations, including scheduling of deliveries, unloading/loading of vehicles and maintaining route organization.
- Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
- Monitor route efficiency with emphasis on load value, route length, and frequency
- Supervise and train receiving and loading staff
- Monitor the accuracy of all receiving and shipping records, including inventory and stock levels
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Identify and resolve receiving, shipping, and inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
- Oversight of vehicles maintaining proper documentation and preventative maintenance schedules
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize receiving processes
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds
- Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8”
- Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day
- Ability to complete simple computer task
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate in English
- Background Check/Drug Screen
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Authorized to work in the US
