JOB SUMMARY
The Technical Trainer will be responsible for developing and deploying a technical training program for GLBHC employees based on the software, applications, and equipment utilized within GLBHC. The responsibilities of the Technical Trainer will include developing a training plan and curriculum based on organizational needs, creating literature and materials to be used for reference and training. Design exercises to enhance end user training, conduct training sessions, and evaluate the results of training programs to determine overall effectiveness. Assist with organizational tools involving policy and procedure management workflows and ensure the full utilization of the application is kept current with end user interaction. Apply excellent communication skills to foster a culture of continuous learning within GLBHC.

Employee training and development:
· Prepare technical training programs according to GLBHC requirements. · Identify areas where departments can make more effective use of Compliancy Group, SharePoint, Teams, and Office365

· Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills. · Determine system utilization requirements by researching and testing systems. · Ensure the quality and consistency of course content throughout a course life cycle.

Communication · Produce training schedules and announcements. · Conduct training sessions, webinars, workshops etc., in groups or individually, in-person or virtually. · Develop reference material to provide quick reference guides for end users · Publish reference material in an easily accessible location and keep current.

Troubleshoot and support · Provide support for end user applications as needed. · Assist the helpdesk to support end users that may require additional training and support.

MARGINAL JOB DUTIES
- Communicate frequently with the Director of Information Technology regarding the status of assigned tasks and/or projects.
- Stay current with industry best practices and make recommendations on system improvements when needed. Provide expertise and direction on training issues.
- Freely manage small to medium sized projects according to budgets and schedules.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education: |
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Education, or related field required.

2. |
Licensure: |
MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) Certification preferred.

3. |
Experience: |
5 years of equivalent work experience preferred.

4. |
Skills: |
· Experience assessing training needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for a large organization. · Knowledge of key-end user scenarios and technical architecture for Office365, Compliancy Group, Teams, SharePoint, and other Office 365 products · Skilled in planning, coordinating, and leading training programs.

Interpersonal Skills: |
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze target audience and to present ideas in user-friendly language. · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. · Strong listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills. · Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.

Physical Effort: |
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard electronic equipment for an entire workday. Must be able to sit, stand, and or walk for up to eight (8) hours daily. Must be able to lift, push, twist, and or pull up to twenty-five (25) lbs on occasion. Must have the ability to drive a vehicle to different GLBHC locations.

Hours of Work: |
Full-time, scheduled for 40 hours a week. Schedule is flexible and varied. Hybrid schedule may be available at manager’s discretion based on organizational or department needs, along with employee’s performance. Must maintain regular and timely attendance.

Travel: |
Local travel between Great Lakes Bay Heal Center sites utilizing a personal vehicle. Mile reimbursement is offered based on current GLBHC policy. Attendance at various training events may be required.
