RN Psych - Bettendorf, IA

• 13 weeks, 36 hours guaranteed
• Start date: 01/27
• 7a-7p, 7p-7a
• $22 hr $1246 stipend = $2038 weekly gross for 36 hrs, $50 OT rate
• Exp Required: 1 year of acute psych RN hospital experience, AHA BLS

Job Duties:

· Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients

· Recording details and symptoms of patient medical history and current health

· Preparing patients for exams and treatments

· Administering medications and treatments, then monitoring patients for side effects and reactions

· Creating, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans with medical team

· Performing wound care, such as cleaning and bandaging them

· Assisting in medical procedures as needed

· Drawing blood, urine samples, and other body fluids for lab work

· Educating patients and family members on treatment and care plans, as well as answering their questions

· Supervising licensed practical and vocational nurses, nursing assistants, and nursing students

· Entering proper documentation into facility specific EMR computer systems

· Maintains work operations by following facility policies and procedures

· Follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

· Maintain strict resident and employee confidentiality in compliance with HIPPAA guidelines

Pay: $2,038.00 per week
