Job description
As the National Chain Store Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a strong business relationship with major national retail chains, specifically CVS, Fresco y Más, and Sedanos. Your responsibilities will include managing category managers, completing new product forms, attending in-person meetings, and presenting new products to National Chain Store representatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying on top of market trends, pricing, and planograms, and collaborating with vendors to ensure alignment with business goals. This position requires a charismatic individual who enjoys creating and nurturing relationships to ensure the ongoing success of our partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Negotiation and Communication:
- Lead negotiations with CVS, Fresco y Más, and Sedanos to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Plan and conduct regular meetings with category managers to address concerns and foster positive relations.
Planogram and Market Management:
- Stay on top of planograms for CVS, Fresco y Más, and Sedanos, ensuring vendors are informed of any changes within the market within California, Texas & Florida.
- Monitor pricing for products within the CVS chain stores to ensure competitive positioning in accordance to each region.
New Item Introductions:
- Complete new item forms accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct in-person meetings with National Chain Store representatives to present and discuss new products, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives.
Promotions and Marketing:
- Create and manage promotions in collaboration with CVS, Sedanos, and Fresco y Más to drive sales and strengthen partnerships.
- Possess a solid understanding of sales and marketing principles to contribute to strategic planning and execution.
System and Platform Management:
- Learn and manage the TTBT CVS transparency test process.
- Become familiar with ULWERC’s SMART platform to efficiently upload and manage product information.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders at CVS, Fresco y Más, and Sedanos to enhance collaboration and partnership.
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen ties and address any challenges that may arise.
Multi-State Distribution:
- Negotiate pricing and terms for distribution in other states in the United States.
- Collaborate with the owner to make informed decisions regarding multi-state operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in account management, specifically with major national retail chains.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Charismatic personality with a knack for building and maintaining relationships.
- Ability to fill out new item forms accurately and efficiently.
- In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing, especially in OTC, personal care, and beauty products.
- Familiarity with planograms and market trends within chain stores.
- Proficiency in navigating platforms like ULWERC’s SMART and managing transparency tests.
- Fluent in English and advanced proficiency in Spanish.
- Willingness to travel for in-person meetings with National Chain Store representatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years in consumer goods industry
- Experience in developing successful annual business plans and price/package for retail customers
- Change agent who thrives in a fast pace, ever changing environment
- Strategic Selling, Conceptual Selling, Account Management
- Consumer Goods in the Health & Beauty Area of the Market
- Bilingual preferred
- Experience influencing effective negotiation and selling with retailers
