We’re excited to announce an opportunity to join our expanding business Development Team as a Business Development Representative. You will play a pivotal role in engaging with small to mid-sized broadband Internet service providers (BSPs). In this position, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our comprehensive ecosystem of solutions. Your efforts will be instrumental in shaping and empowering the next generation of BSPs and supporting their efforts to bring fiber broadband to every corner of the earth. This role involves managing the entire sales process, including presenting to operational and C-level executives and showcasing the value of the GLDS broadband management platform.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be smart, and technology-minded, with a solid work ethic that’s relentless in identifying opportunities, pursuing meaningful industry relationships, and looking for opportunities to solve customer problems using GLDS software and solutions. Expect heavy outreach : phone, email, with online video meetings and software demonstrations. While you will attend industry conferences, most of the sales process is virtual.
What you’ll do
- Engage BSPs with the goal of understanding their business, their technology infrastructure, and determining whether GLDS can provide value in supporting their broadband business efforts.
- Discover, research, and cultivate new business opportunities and determine candidacy for GLDS suite of products and services worldwide – narrower industry or geographic focus may be identified in the future.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution. GLDS believes all who represent us should know our products thoroughly; no sales engineers here.
- Maintain and manage a detailed pipeline of opportunities for tracking and reporting purposes and manage the same under the supervision of the Director of Business Development.
