Job Summary
Assists with the function of employee administrative and HR management. This includes employee recruitment, screening, on-boarding, introductory and annual reviews; employee relations issues, and interpreting human resources policies and laws; and required training. The position will focus on employee recruitment, on-boarding, and retention. This role requires a proactive approach to support organizational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Hours: Flexible (Days), 15 hours per week. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:30am - 4:30pm
Pay: Commensurate with Experience.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Manage the on-boarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment.
- Maintain accurate employee records in tracking systems.
- Support affirmative action planning and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with management on organization design initiatives to enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Provide guidance on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Assist in the development of training programs to promote employee growth and development.
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field required.
- Experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
- Familiarity with HR software applications
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using recruitment platforms like Lever for talent acquisition.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience in affirmative action planning is a plus.
