Responsibilities:
- Math Skills: Basic math skills
- Familiar with the function of hand tools related to grinding/deburring materials
- Good attention to detail and self-motivated
- Accurately read a tape measure and micrometer
- Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/supervisor in a timely manner
- Able to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a team
- Manual dexterity to use hand held tools and shop machines
- Dissemble steel pieces from stamped or laser cut sheets and sort according to order
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Keep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, and set out or put away tools
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Benefits and schedule will be discussed. Compensation will be based on experience
Job Type: Full-time 1st Shift Monday through Friday -7:00am to 3:30pm
Qualifications:
- Great work ethic
- Experience in general labor/manufacturing and/or metal fabrication
- Ability to understand blueprints documents
- Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBOSS
- Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents.
- Stamina to remain on feet completing various tasks
- Ability to handle physical workload
