We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of retail operations. This role involves assisting customers with their purchases, managing the cash register, and ensuring the pro shop is well-stocked and organized. As a Pro Shop Attendant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting merchandise.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate pricing and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide information about products and services.
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and clarity, providing excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting counts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shop operations.
- Learn Golf operation systems (Foretees, Golf Genius) to assist Golf Professionals in daily golf operations
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail math calculations.
