Position Summary:
The Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the clinical oversight for all outpatient therapy services to include onsite and telehealth outpatient programing. The Director manages all activities involving outpatient referrals from initial call through completion of treatment plans, coordinating caseloads, developing and managing the outpatient staff, and marketing the program. The goal for this position is to maximize referral potentials from assigned accounts and develop new business to achieve the goals and objectives of the Business Development department.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited university in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or another mental health related field.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
Licensure: Minimum licensure LPC, LMSW, or LMFT in Texas required.
Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation agencies’ regulations, patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws regulating mental health care facilities preferred. CPR and Handle With Care training as outlined in the New Hire policy must be completed before providing direct care services.
