What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Full-Stack Engineer position at Glencoco?
We are looking for an A Full-Stack Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate is a senior level full-stack engineer with strong analytical skills that can flex into both product and business roles. You must be both an exceptional engineer who can architect complex systems as well as someone who can think independently about the product and work towards our business goals.

We believe that by combining infrastructure that streamlines the job functions of an SDR with functionality that makes it easy to set-up outbound campaigns, we can create a marketplace that efficiently sorts talent into high-paying and growth opportunities.

Opportunity
We believe strongly in a bottom-up organization where engineers have the autonomy but also the responsibility to think critically about the product. We also believe strongly in investing in people and filtering for candidates that are ambitious and have a high slope.
We’ve built out an MVP that’s received some solid traction (growing 100% m/m since launch). You’ll be joining at a time where we have an unbounded list of things we want to build that stretch from hypotheses about making the marketplace more efficient to ideas on how to grow our user and customer growth. You will be working extremely closely with the founders and a strong team of engineers to do everything to grow us into a generational company. We believe that an analytical thinker is invaluable irrespective of the domain.
Our backend is written entirely in Go and our infrastructure is hosted entirely in AWS and captured in Terraform. Interesting technical problems include creating an AI-assisted, quality assurance process for screening callers, optimizing our dialer for pick-ups, algorithmically surfacing the leads with the highest likelihood of conversion and general problems related to scale (we process over 10k calls a day).
You'll also get to join the company just as we're taking off, with ample resources to set us up for success. Our company is backed by top-tier VCs, including Felicis Ventures, Crossbeam.vc, BOND Capital, and L2 Ventures as well as incredible angels, including the former Head of Brand Design at Stripe and the former VP of Product at Roblox. Our team backgrounds include Facebook, Verkada, Wiz, MIT, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, and Waterloo. The founders have both worked at multiple startups that exited and/or achieved a multi-billion valuation.
Right now, we're Williamsburg, NY based, with 3 days a week in the office and 2 days working from home.

- Expert in Golang
- Proficient in Typescript
- Proficient in Terraform and AWS
- Expert in looking at data, preferably with a background in Math / Machine Learning
- Eye for design, product details and polish. Ownership over the end product
- Ability to independently think about the business goals and suggest and implement product improvements towards those goals
- Self-motivated and a desire to constantly be improving
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000
