The IT Service Desk Coordinator provides first-level technical support for issues related to personal computers (PCs), software, and associated devices. Responsibilities include responding to technical support requests via phone, email, and in-person; documenting and tracking issues; and ensuring timely resolution. The role also involves maintaining IT service desk operations, including call logging and user support.
Education and Experience:- Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Recommended technical competencies:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Office, IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, and other common enterprise applications.
- Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals, and printers.
- Fundamental understanding of networking concepts and ITIL best practices.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities, including phone etiquette.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
