We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team!
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for managing a broad range of human resources functions, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and programs that support the organization's strategic goals. This role requires a solid understanding of HR best practices, compliance with labor laws, and the ability to provide guidance to both employees and management on HR-related matters. The HR Generalist will handle recruitment, employee relations, and performance management while ensuring a positive and productive workplace culture. Additionally, this role involves maintaining accurate HR records and supporting various HR projects, goals, and initiatives as needed and assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of this position.
- 2-4 years of experience in human resources or a related role. Healthcare human resources experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and industry trends including talent acquisition, employee relations, talent management, performance management, federal and state employment laws.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite & HR software/systems, UKG experience preferred.
- A dedicated professional. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels providing exceptional service to employees.
- Empathy and understanding of employees' needs, combined with a professional approach to handling difficult situations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and serve as a resource for all HR matters and questions.
- A solution-oriented mindset. Approachable, friendly, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, etc.) is a plus but not required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation decisions are made based off of several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification and licensure as well as internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of their salary range.
Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 annually
