Job Title: HSEC Coordinator Blackbird Mine
About the Company:

About the Role:
The HSEC Project Lead will support the site on Health, environmental, projects, and regulatory aspects. They will develop, implement, and document HSEC and site management systems, assess and mitigate risks, and ensure ongoing compliance with Corporate and jurisdictional requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of HSEC and Risk-related projects and initiatives to meet Company-specific requirements.
- Maintain environmental data in the Environmental Management System (EMS) and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Perform inspections on site infrastructure, including water management facilities and tailings management facility.
- Maintain site documents, such as Environmental, Health, and Safety-related documents, management plans, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support the operation of the water treatment plant and water management systems when needed.
- Oversee projects related to operations, maintenance, and surveillance.
- Participate in stakeholder engagement, including locally affected residents, regulatory agencies, and joint venture partner representatives.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Sciences, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Five to eight years of relevant industry experience with sound general knowledge of mining operations/closure or similar industry.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, process control, mine reclamation, and/or tailings facilities is considered an asset.
- Ability to work safely at a remote site, including outdoors in all seasons.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Proven ability to effectively manage a team.
- Computer skills with Word, Excel, and functional operational systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and scheduling skills.
