The Service Manager holds a pivotal leadership position within the Service Department, tasked with steering its performance to new heights. This role is instrumental in attracting, nurturing, and retaining outstanding talent, while simultaneously crafting an unparalleled service experience for our esteemed customers.
This position engages in daily interactions with a diverse array of individuals, including customers, service advisors, technicians, parts associates, parts managers, and various other store associates, among others.
Responsibilities:
- Setting a clear vision and goals for the Service Department to achieve targeted performance.
- Driving a highly efficient sales and production operation to get Customers in and out quickly while ensuring our “fix it right the first time” brand promise is upheld.
- Inspiring and energizing the team to meet essential objectives, fulfill performance standards, and adhere to the exemplary practices established by Glendale Nissan.
- Attracting, developing, and retaining the very best talent for the store.
- Creating an exceptional customer experience to drive customer loyalty.
- Ensuring the Service area is retail-ready with proper displays, point-of-purchase information, and visible competitive pricing for maintenance products.
- Overseeing the business operations in strict adherence to the standards and procedures established by New Century Automotive Group and the manufacturer.
- Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance.
- Driving the business through a high level of involvement in the day-to-day operations.

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Service and/or Parts Management experience
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain great talent
- Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Experience and desire to work with technology
- Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
