Pool Manager

• Lead our pool staff throughout the summer months to ensure our members and their guests have a fantastic experience at our pool facilities
• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, and leading a team of certified lifeguards and swim instructors that put safety, service, and cleanliness as the highest of priorities.

·         This individual must be highly organized, have had proven results in managing and training pool staff and swim coaches.

• Responsible for collaborating with the Head Swim Coach to successfully host Swim Meets.
• Complete daily safety checks of pool equipment and the surrounding pool area. Monitor, maintain, and adjust pool filtration, mechanical, and chemical feed systems; monitor pool water chemistry through testing of water samples; knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and adjust chemistry as needed. Perform various pool maintenance functions including back-washing, cleaning baskets and filters, and vacuuming the pool.
• Maintains proper First Aid/CPR certifications, Lifeguard Certification and Certified Pool Operator certificate.
• Glenhardie Country Club will cover all expenses to obtain these certifications if the person does not yet have them.
• We are a family-oriented Club, which has 80-100 youth members involved with the swim team.
