While we are currently operating out of a temporary trailer during this renovation, we remain committed to providing our members and guests with an unparalleled experience.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Retail/Golf Shop Associate to join our dynamic seasonal team. This individual will work alongside the Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Golf Shop and retail services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, have a passion for customer service, and a strong understanding of retail management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Retail Manager with the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain relationships with members to enhance loyalty and customer retention
- Assist members in placing special orders for customized or hard-to-find golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Maintain inventory, restock merchandise, and ensure the store is well-organized and visually appealing
- Process transactions, including sales and returns, using the POS system
- Assist in implementing marketing strategies to drive foot traffic to the golf shop, including promotions, email marketing, and partnerships
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns promptly
- Monitor shop cleanliness and presentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Retail Manager

Compensation
This position is classified as Non-Exempt. Hourly wage is $20.00
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management or a supervisory role in a customer-focused environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and members
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
· Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management
· Passion for golf and the country club lifestyle is a plus
Salary : $20
