We are an established small industrial service company based out of Ft. Wayne, IN seeking an experienced Entry Level Staff Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with an ability to ensure accuracy across various financial processes. As the Entry Level Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role will work as part of a Finance team and report directly to the owners and managers, working closely with our Business Operations teams. This position will offer a great deal of opportunity to learn and grow.
- Performing monthly closing duties including various account reconciliations.
- Preparing management reporting documentation including P&L and Balance Sheet statements.
- Providing financial analysis and financial metrics to support operational initiatives.
- Assisting with the bi-weekly payroll function both internally and with our outside payroll processing company.
- Assist with billing customers.
- Helping to continuously improve accounting policies and reporting.
- Other tasks and projects, as assigned.
