JOB SUMMARY:
The Superintendent is responsible for directing and managing all site-specific field operations including the coordination of subcontractors, general contractor, project management team, plant manager and other trades in execution of the scope of work at the project work site.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receiving, Unloading and Distribution Supervision
o Receiving product delivery trucks and verifying receivables versus manifest and cross referencing with expected Ship Ticket Work Orders and notify Shop/Project Management of any discrepancies
o Supervising as trucks are off loaded to insure no damage
• Site Supervision
o Obtain field dimensions coordinated with shop drawings and existing conditions and communicate/coordinate results with the drafting department
o Layout work and coordinate with other trades and General Contractor
o Instruct subcontract labor on drawing layout, part numbering call-outs and item breakdown for purposes of distribution of product and installation of work
o Coordinating work flow with subcontract labor, other trades and general contractor for a smooth and timely installation
o Directing subcontract labor on product installation including means and methods for a complete and functioning installation
o To perform quality control during installation with a zero (0) punch-list goal
o Coordinate closely with Project Manager man power requirements, production goals, schedule, coordination issues, overall installation and project goals
o Anticipate project needs and clearly communicate them to the project team
o Understand and maintain all safety requirements of the project, hold necessary tool box talks and log and submit copies to General Contractor
o Complete and turn in daily reports to General Contractor per project requirements
o Verify that any new employees have completed new hire paper work and it has been turned in to HR before commencing work
o Notify Project Management immediately of any non-conforming new hires
o Any other activity not listed to supervise and or complete field installation in a timely and professional manner with the schedule and production goals in mind and 100% client satisfaction

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 7-10 years previous experience in a field management role within the custom cabinet making industry
• Extensive understanding of custom millwork/cabinetry structure
• Bi-lingual/Spanish, preferred
• Previous experience supervising projects more than 5 MM
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in problem solving/analysis
• Superior conflict resolution skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and implement alternate solutions to challenges
