Program Overview:
Our Millwork Intern Program is a structured, multi-phased experience offering exposure to various facets of our company. You will begin with a comprehensive overview, working in multiple departments to gain foundational knowledge. Following this phase, you’ll select a capstone project within a specific department, guided by an assigned mentor who will support your development throughout the internship and beyond.
Departmental Rotations:
You’ll gain first-hand knowledge and experience by rotating through the following areas:
- Production: 3 weeks
- Estimating: 3 weeks
- Engineering & Detailing: 2 weeks
- Cutbilling & Material Takeoff: 2 weeks
- Project Management: 2 weeks

Responsibilities:
During the internship, you will: - Learn to read and interpret shop and cut bill drawings.
- Gain familiarity with materials and wood species commonly used in millwork.
- Understand manufacturing methods and techniques.
- Develop estimating skills and learn industry-standard practices.
- Create shop drawings for architect submittals and participate in constructability reviews.
- Develop 3D models for BIM and design purposes.
- Participate in routine industry and company processes, including RFIs and change requests.
Requirements: - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a professional setting.
Commitment and Pay: - Duration: 12 weeks (~400 hours).
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible to accommodate academic needs).
- Pay Rate: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience (DOE).
