Job Summary:
The Glens Falls Country Food Runner will deliver food to members/guests at their table. The Food Runner will also assist in the below responsibilities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Taking food from the kitchen to customers' tables.
- Communicating with wait staff.
- Carrying food to the right table.
- Helping with cleanup.
- Stocking supplies.
- Keeping dining areas clean.
- Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils
- Providing great customer service
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of cleanliness and hygiene standards for front-of-house maintenance
- Familiarity with the food and beverage menu
- Attention to detail in clearing and resetting tables
- Ability to multitask and assist wait staff during busy periods
- Efficient in handling cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy dining environment
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).
- Previous experience as a hostess preferred.
- Must successfully complete restaurant training course.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
