What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Runner position at IHOP?
As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for running food to guests, assisting with requests at tables and communicating with the expeditor, cheerfully and courteously. A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, an eye for detail, able to lift 25-50 pounds, stand for up to 8 hours, occasionally use motion which entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists. Responsibilities of a Food Runner::
- Gather condiments needed based on what's on the order screen
- \Pull\ food from hot window based on the order
- \Dress\ plates and food properly
- Run the food to the guests, keeping it hot and fresh
- Assist with any request the guest may make
Food Runner Requirements::
- Prior experience as a food runner is a plus.
- Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
- Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have an eye for detail
