Responsibilities
- Responsible for keeping a variety of databases current and accurate
- Updates and maintains the physician registry on the mainframe and other computer
- Accountable for ensuring patient demographic information is accurate in the Medical Records Computer Applications
Education/Accredited Programs
- High School or equivalent with four years of experience in a healthcare setting or AS degree
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations
- None required
- AHIMA Certification preferred
Skills/Abilities
- Attention to detail and follow-up
- Fluency with electronic health record systems and navigation
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with respect to sensitive information
- Completes task within required time frames and remains organized
- Strong internal and external customer service skills and ability to work with clinical, non-clinical, and the public in many different areas of Data Integrity
- Sound decision making, understanding instructions and solves problems individually and in a team environment

Salary Range
The expected base rate for this Glens Falls, New York, United States-based position is $17.25 to $31.89 per hour. Exact rate is determined on a case-by-case basis commensurate with experience level, as well as education and certifications pertaining to each position which may be above the listed job requirements.
