What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gondola Operator position at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park?
Position requires someone to be 18 years of age or older. Is responsible for but not limited to opening and closing of gondola while providing excellent customer service. Load and unload guest focusing on customer service and safety. Assist with transporting supplies up and down the mountain on the gondola. Will observe and anticipate weather conditions. Assist with gondola faults that occur. Transport interoffice correspondence to base area and effectively monitor and control crowds that gather at the top of the gondola. Within 2025 work the following hours and earn a scholarship! You must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester. Scholarship will be paid directly to your higher education school.
250 hours - $500 higher education scholarship
400 hours - $1,000 higher education scholarship
600 hours - $1,800 higher education scholarship
