Position Description
Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Glenwood Caverns and Iron Mountain Hot Springs employees. Will conduct new hire orientations while supporting office and human resources.
Responsibilities
Support recruiting functions, can include but not limited to posting jobs on website, recruiting webpages, calling applicants, forwarding applications to appropriate manager and updating staffing needs.
Responsible for first impressions to guests, employees and office staff.
Answering phone inbound phone calls.
Maintain employee files
Conduct New Hire Orientations
Update learning content on our learning management system
Assist with special projects that are related to general office or human resources.
Communicate and assist with employee benefit enrollment
Requirements

Maintain confidentiality of office and company related information
Available to work full time including overtime, evenings, weekends and holidays
Basic understanding of employment law and understanding of Human Resources practices

Qualifications
Must have excellent customer service with a strong desire to please guests and employees
Experience in human resources and/or office administration preferred
Strong organizational skills
Work independently without direct supervision. Ability to work well with all levels of management executive leadership, support staff and employees.
Ability to learn new systems and procedures
Training experience helpful
Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language
Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment
Ability to work productively in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills: Outlook email and calendar, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Siriusware, and other applications as deemed necessary
Must be patient, poised and able to cope with special situations
Valid driver’s license
Work weekends and holidays
Courtesy, alertness, a positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly are necessary
