Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Tech to join our team at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will assist licensed pharmacists in providing healthcare and medications to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and management
- Stock, package, and compound medications as required
- Perform tasks such as ordering, receiving, and stocking of pharmaceutical supplies
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and patient information
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- High school degree or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a hospital pharmacy technician preferred; ACPE or ASHP accredited course in compounding sterile preparations preferred
- Pharmacy Tech certification required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
