POSITION SUMMARY :
The Daycare Attendant works under the direction of Daycare Lead and Guest Services Supervisor. Daycare Attendant will be responsible for assisting with the operation and supervision of children for the Community Center Little Rec Explorers Program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment in which both children and parents feel comfortable.
- Coordinate activities for children between the ages of 1 and 7.
- Engage and play with children in a safe and courteous manner, being aware of any potentially unsafe conditions.
- Encourage inclusivity for all children in the daycare and adjust play as needed.
- Aide in the preparation, set up, and clean up for craft and game activities.
- Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of Little Rec rooms and toys; maintain a healthy environment.
- Familiar with membership options, and ensuring children are registered in RecTrac program.
- Open and close daily operations for Little Rec Explorers Program.
- Enforce all general building policies and safety standards and regulations in all facilities.
