What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer position at GLIDE SD 12?
Thank you for offering your time and expertise to our schools! There are a few things we will need from you before you can begin. This process can be completed electronically through this application, or in person by visiting the office manager of the school you would like to volunteer in.
Who is a volunteer?
Volunteers are typically defined as parents/guardians/community members who wish to work in a school setting with students, perform tasks assigned by a school, and/or attend a field trip as a chaperone. Temporary visitors to our schools, such as parents attending lunch or guest speakers, are not subject to the volunteer process but must still abide by all protocols around safety and security.
