DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE

Reporting to the Asst. Operations Manager, this position ensures all product is marked and distributed correctly to each of our retail locations. Associates must balance speed with accuracy to ensure our stores are properly inventoried and all goods scan correctly at the register.

ESSENTAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review and work with department team leaders to meet daily/weekly/monthly production goals.
· Mark fashion product with correct Glik tickets quickly and accurately.
· Pack fashion product into store cartons with hand held scanners quickly and accurately.
· Close store cartons and move to dock for shipping; running the UPS line when applicable.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· High School graduate or equivalent.
· Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
· Must be able to work well with management, team leaders and co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
· Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
· Must be willing to work the occasional Saturday. No night shifts.
· Experience with scanning pick/pack is a plus, but not necessary. We train all positions.

SCHEDULE
· 8 hr shift – Monday through Friday (8am-4:30pm)
· 1 Saturday per month (7am-Noon)
· 30 min unpaid lunch, 20 min paid break for an 8-hour shift.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is fast paced and physically demanding. It requires the ability to stand, walk, and maintain balance for extensive periods of time. Ability to perform repetitive, detailed tasks such as ticketing small garments is a must. Additionally, frequent lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying 35-45 lbs. of materials is required in all D.C. associate positions.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
