GLO Resources is currently hiring a Material Fabrication Team Lead in Port Allen, LA.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM. Willing to work overtime and weekends when needed.
Rate of Pay: The rate of pay for this position is ranging from $19.00-$25.00 depending on experience.
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Material Fabrication Team Lead to oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure production goals are met efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse or fabrication settings, delegating tasks, tracking inventory, and making real-time adjustments to meet order deadlines. This role requires a proactive leader who holds the team accountable, communicates effectively, and adapts to changing priorities.
Description:
- Oversee daily material fabrication processes, ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage inventory levels, track material usage, and coordinate restocking to prevent shortages.
- Delegate tasks effectively to optimize team productivity and maintain workflow.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for order tracking, inventory management, and reporting.
- Hold team members accountable for performance, attendance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed, including potential overtime to meet deadlines.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of materials to maintain an efficient and safe workspace.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to provide updates and address challenges promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a warehouse, manufacturing, or fabrication setting.
- Strong inventory management skills, including tracking materials and adjusting stock levels as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for order tracking, reporting, and inventory management.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality in both attendance and communication.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet production deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing inventory and workflow in a fabrication or production environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
